About NCS

About NCS

NCS is an established, reliable global specialist in the provision of petroleum, oils, and lubricants (POL) and related fuel management and financial services for operations in challenging environments worldwide. It was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Denmark.

NCS began fuel operations as NCS Fuel in Afghanistan in 2007 and became an ISO-certified NATO Prime Vendor. In the subsequent fifteen years, with continued success in this role, NCS also developed commercial relationships with other national military organizations, including US Forces, the German Army, Swedish Armed Forces, French Forces, and EUPOL. For details, please see NCS Performance History.

NCS’s success in providing world-class supply-chain solutions in challenging environments attracted the attention of World Fuel Services (NYSE:INT), a global leader in fuel logistics, specializing in the marketing, sale, and distribution of marine, aviation, and land fuel products and related services. In 2011, NCS became a wholly-owned World Fuel Services subsidiary, further expanding World Fuel Services' logistics expertise and capabilities, whilst also increasing NCS’s reach into additional geographies, industry sectors, and service levels.

As NCS continues to leverage a strong foundation of skills originally developed to support military customers in Afghanistan, this expertise is now overlaid with the global reach, financial strength, and service capability of the wider World Fuel Services organization. Drawing on the World Fuel Services supply chain, NCS is able to reliably offer a full spectrum of POL products and related services virtually anywhere in the world, all against globally recognized standards such as ASTM, JIG, BSI, DEFSTAN, STANAG, and others.

Code of Conduct
